For our patients

Everything you need,
before you arrive

A hospital visit is easier when you know what happens next. This page walks through a visit from start to finish — what to bring, what happens on the day, and what follows.

2 On the day

What happens at the centre

  1. 01

    Consultation

Meet a nephrologist or diabetologist to review your history, current medication and reports.

  2. 02

    Diagnosis

Bloodwork, ultrasound and ECG are carried out in our own laboratory, usually within the same visit.

  3. 03

    Access Planning

For dialysis, our vascular team plans and creates the access that will carry you through treatment.

  4. 04

    Treatment

Hemodialysis sessions on Fresenius 4008S machines, with nursing support throughout each session.

  5. 05

    Ongoing Care

Diet and nutrition counselling, medication review and regular monitoring between sessions.

3 Afterwards

Results, follow-up and support

Your results

Investigations are processed in our own laboratory, so your consultant usually has them within the same visit rather than days later.

Follow-up

Long-term treatment is a rhythm, not a single appointment. Your consultant sets the review interval and we book it before you leave.

Our consultants

Living with treatment

Dietitians, social workers and transplant coordinators support patients between appointments — because long-term care asks more of people than medicine alone.

Cashless

Insurance, settled at the desk

Our insurance desk handles pre-authorisation and paperwork so you are not chasing forms after treatment. Tell us your insurer when you book and we will confirm what is covered before you travel.

Check your insurer

Tell us who you are insured with and we will confirm what applies before you travel.

Being on our empanelment list is not the same as your specific policy covering a specific procedure — the desk confirms that part directly with your insurer.

What to bring

  • A photo ID and, if you have one, your hospital registration number
  • Your insurance card or policy details
  • Previous reports, scans and discharge summaries
  • A current list of medicines, including doses
  • Any referral letter from another doctor
  • A family member or friend, if you would prefer support
Fasting or medication changes depend on what you are having done — your booking confirmation will say, and reception can always double-check.
